Teaching Philosophy
As a dedicated choral music pedagogue, conductor, scholar, and pianist, my teaching philosophy centers on placing people above the music process. I am committed to fostering pedagogical and moral practices that recognize individuals as human beings and global citizens deserving of equal respect and love. In my role as an academic, I embrace the responsibility to ensure that my pedagogy and leadership practices are equitable, inclusive, and diverse. This commitment involves continuous evaluation and reflection within a teaching community that serves students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
